OLYMPIA — Washington state homeowners are one step closer to having true remedies against a builder’s negligence under a measure approved by the Senate Labor, Commerce & Consumer Protection Committee tonight.
“For years, we have put political pandering ahead of the rights and the financial security of Washington homeowners,” Sen. Adam Kline, (D – 37th Dist.) said. “It’s time we finish what we started and do what’s best for Washingtonians.”

“Having to pay thousands of dollars out of their own pockets to repair their own home because of shoddy construction is something no Washington family should have to shoulder, much less during this economic downturn,” Kline said.
